Guest Blogger: Lily Harris

Hello Peachie readers! I am a guest blogger! My name is Lily Harris, I am 13 years old, I make and sell jewellery but I want to be a fashion designer when I am older. I am going to write about what the current fashions are in England and Tiki is doing one about NYC. So.... the main fashion in England at the minute is the Camden Market look, with grungy, gothic punk styles using tartan prints, velvet, creepers and lots of black lace. Also military is very big for a/w with khaki shirts, tailored trousers, long leather boots and fishtail parkas. But things that are definitely out are pastels and ditsy florals.  If you want to check out my blog it’s at

Ready, Set, Go!

Yep, it's that time. School. Well, it had to come around sooner or later right?

Tonight I catch up on Project Runway, one of my all time favorite reality TV shows where I'm sitting rooting for Melissa or Gunnar and booing down Ven for his rude comments and urge to make others feel bad about themselves.

On the other hand, I've been listening to Christina Grimmie, here are two of her songs that are my favorite.

I won't die, RIGHT?

So, today my friends and I were experimenting with makeup, you know sparkly glittery colors get everywhere, that sort of thing. IDEA 1: I thought of- each eye a different color. But corresponding, like I did glittery blue on one eye and glittery green on the other. IDEA 2: lip glitter!! 1st, put on vaseline (a little bit) and then take a color (preferably glittery as it looks cooler.) using your fingers dab it onto your lips. Hopefully we won't die, RIGHT? If my lips start puffing up and itching, I'll tell you. Here are some photos so you can witness the BEA-U-TIFUL effect.

Who needs last names.?

Exactly, I live in NY. Who needs last names when you have first names? Well, technically you need them to determine who is who and which person you like or don't like. But when you only have to know a few people, and only care who a few people are, you don't need last names. So, here we go. Tiki: ME. Introducing, Mary: MODEL. (and friend, accomplice, and creative thinker.) I've been thinking I want to be a fashion photographer when I'm older, but you never know. I also want to do something with writing. I'm going off track here. Here is Mary, in some artsy shots.

In Turkey with a cute bow dress (dancing around?)
No explanation, just thought it would be a fun shot.
In Turkey, hanging off the side of the boat... wearing some comfortable harem pants bought in Turkey.

Step-Up Revolution

The new movie to see this summer is Step-Up Revolution. It's a mix of dancing, romance, and drama. The music and incredible dancers make you want to get up and dance. While I thought I might be able to do some of the moves, of course I couldn't, but hey, you never know! It's like a flow of creative energy bursting out at you. To add in there is also great costumes and an interesting plot, so go to a movie theater and buy a ticket to Step-Up Revolution!

What's New?

"Fashion is made to become unfashionable."-Coco Chanel

And it's true, as soon as one outfit is fashionable, another one is unfashionable. I mean, fanny packs were fashionable?

A sketch a made with feathers and tribal inspired decorations.

A paradise cruiser skateboard,  something I plan on getting this summer.

An outfit I wish I had:
Staring at Stars Silky Geo Stripe Romper
A cute romper from here.
Colorful shoes from here.
A two-finger ring from here.
I recently died my hair- pink! I went to Patricia Fields Salon in NYC, and got it done (in Hot Pink Manic Panic) by Ayumi (here).
