hi there ;) happy new year

2013 hmmm. well, the world didn't end so we can all be happy about that. Lately I've been trying to take better photos (ex: more colorful, more often, and more strange).
Some songs I've discovered (or rediscovered) and have been listening to crazily:

what to do now

well it's finally WINTER BREAK and now i contemplate what i should be doing with my time until Christmas. its mostly siting around in my onesie pjs and playing little alchemy and listening to random CD's that my mom gave me [Madonna, Lana Del Rey, Azealia Banks], doing my nails, knitting, taking artsy photos [who came up with "artsy" stuff anyway?], baking and reading the Matched Series, and watching How I Met Your Mother.

The Peter pan and Wendy earrings are from Etsy (here). I was reminiscing about my childhood and found this video (skip to 1:18 to get to the best part) of the REALLY sad ending where I got emotional and teary-eyed. :(

But anyways almost Christmas! I'm thinking maybe photo shoot in the snow... hmmmmm....

Its almost winter, YAY! Unlike other people, I like the winter and the snow. It makes me want to cuddle up in a ball with a book, a comfy blanket, and a mug of tea. And then go outside and play in the snow and have a snowball fight, apparently it was supposed to snow today but no :( I also happened to get my ears pierced over the weekend, yipee! It hurt, but its worth it! I can't wait to wear real earrings!

It's almost that season. When the snow flutters down and soon, as the season progresses, flops down in huge bunches for us little (sort of) children to frolic around in. We get to accept expensive presents from family and friends and hope that they didn't get us a pair of mittens, again. (sigh). Right now, I'm at that awkward age where your parent's friends ask them what you would like for Christmas. So, in the past years I choose to ignore the questions and let my parents decide, but this year, I realized, I could actually get things I want! So this is my wish list:

ears pierced
pink sugar perfume
different colors of liquid eyeliner
fashion photography books
discs of Romeo and Juliet/the Titanic
 and for now, that's all I can think of.

BLACK OUT!

We'll the powers out in Downtown NYC which leaves me without service, power, or ramen noodles. How am I posting you ask? Fortunately two of my friends were screaming up at my window and we got driven uptown. yay! Service, lights, and everything nice! For now, I'm staying at my friends house.
